For cryptocurrency, no. The two most important goals for us as a financial institution in offering cryptocurrency is to make it as easy and safe to buy, sell and hold cryptocurrency as possible. In order to meet both of those goals (ease and safety), for a variety of both security and regulatory reasons, you are not able to send cryptocurrency to a wallet outside of the financial institution or receive cryptocurrency from a wallet outside of the financial institution.

Your financial institution does not provide tax advice. For specific questions, you should consult a tax professional. You can find your consolidated transaction history in the documents section of the investment portal which can be used as a record of gains and losses received from trades.

The cost to trade securities is free. Cryptocurrency transactions are charged a small fee according to the following Fee Schedule:
– $0.99 min
– $0 – $1,000 at 2.99%
– $1,000.01 – $5,000 = 1.75%

Please see the InvestiFi Securities Customer Agreement for more information about closing your account. However, if you close your financial institution account, you will lose access to your InvestiFi Securities brokerage account. You will need to speak with an InvestiFi Securities rep before closing your financial institution account in order to determine what to do with the securities in your portfolio. Please see the InvestiFi Securities Customer Agreement for more information and to see your options for handling securities positions.
